INFORMATIONS
GENERAL MODULE
As a result of the change in SAAQ regulations on heavy vehicles and tippers, PAKPAR™ has created its own security system and dump body checker. Using its integrated GPS, this system will take into consideration the speed of the vehicle and will allow the control of the alarm’s light and sound as required by SAAQ regulations. It is easily installed on all types of dump vehicles.

EXPLANATIONS
AND OPERATION
The PAKPAR™ system allows the control of audible and luminous alarms that indicates if the dump body is lifted when the vehicle speed exceeds 12 km/h and this feature is programmable.
LED Output
This begins to flash as soon as the dumper is lifted more than 5cm depending on the location where the detector is installed irrespective of vehicle speed.
Bucket Buzzer Output
It activates for only 5 seconds when the speed is under 10km/h (+/-2km/h) as soon as the dump body is raised more than 5 cm depending on where the detector is installed.
Constantly activates a beeping sound once the vehicle speed exceeds 10km/h (+/-2km/h) and if the dump body is lifted by more than 5 cm depending on where the detector is installed.
Auxiliary Buzzer Output
Constantly activates a beeping sound when the auxiliary input #2 is active. An example of what it does is that it allows for the detection of low oil level for the pump. Note that any other detector could be used here.
NOTE : The module will assume the dump body is raised if the detector is disconnected.
The status LEDs on the PAKPAR™ module allows for a quick check of the module status.
LST
Indicates the general status of the module:
- 1 flash every 4 seconds = standby module (dump body closed)
- 1 flash every second = module activated (dump body raised)
GPS
Indicates that the number of satellites available by the GPS are sufficient for speed detection.
LSS
Indicates that the dump body detector is well connected and helps to install the latter.
